Pregnancy 2 - Weekly Update: 22

How far along? 22 Weeks

How much weight have you gained?  14 pounds

Any cravings? Not really. But anything sugary sounds better than non-sugary alternatives, which is not ideal when trying to eat healthy.

What are you wearing? Some of my t-shirts and tanks can still work, but mostly maternity wear now.

How are you feeling? Symptoms? Still feeling pretty good. Some aches and pains and stiffness on occasion, but not all the time. I have been a little sore from our road trip (my left arm - whyyyy?), but it's not as bad as I had expected.

Stretch marks? Not yet.

Belly button in or out? Out. Hazel really thinks it's funny looking, but she also told me its cute. Tonight we were comparing our belly buttons, and she wanted to do some belly bumps. Now she thinks its hilarious to stick our bellies together.

Sleep? Sleep is getting more restless. I finally decided to buy a pregnancy pillow. I had one picked out and waiting in my shopping cart for a few days, and when I decided to order it, it was unavailable. :( Boo!

Best moment this week: We were in Colorado the past weekend and got to see old friends, celebrate a wedding, and I got to float around in a warm hot spring pool. Not a hot tub, but a close second and totally safe for the babes.

Worst moment this week:  Riding in the car for long periods on our road trip. It actually went much better than expected, but sitting for that long was still not the highlight.

Miss anything? I miss having a strong appetite. I just don't feel like I'm eating enough and it's not fun.

Movement? Yep! Still partying in there.

Excited for anything? It's fall, and I THINK things are about to slow down for us a little bit. Sitting by the fire and not going anywhere sounds great. There's also lots of cleaning, unpacking the car, and picking up pine needles in our weekend plans, but I'm sure there will be some doing NOTHING as well.

How’s dad-to-be? Still planning, and looking for good deals on a twin baby carrier. He's already looking forward to taking Hazel and the twins to the grocery store (or anywhere in public) because he knows people will fawn over him and tell him he's the best dad ever. (Apparently, he's having visions of crowds gathering and singing, "For he's a jolly good fellow...") I'm looking forward to it too, because that means I'll be getting a nap break at home! :)
